The Primatial Cathedral of Bogotá, situated on the main square of the city, with the National Capitol, is the biggest in Colombia, and one of the largest in South America. Built at the beginning of the 19th century, it holds the remains of Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada, founder of Bogotá. From the cathedral starts the most animated street of Bogota, perfect start for an evening stroll.
