With an interesting history, a very nice walkable old town, and the UN buffer zone, it is definitely an interesting city to visit. Even in winter, weather is agreeable - in summer, it might be difficult to resist to the attraction of the nice beaches all around the island, some of them as short as 30/45 min drive from Nicosia !
