Staying in Tahiti, one of the most amazing spectacles there is to see are the sunsets, which are everyday more amazing than the previous one.

Staying at the Carlton Plage residence, on the West side of the island, it was therefore very convenient to watch many amazing sunsets over the Pacific ocean from there.

A neighbor that is living there for several months even told me that she witnessed several times a green ray... Unfortunately for me, I couldn't see one. It is also called green flash.

This vare rare metorological event and optical phenomenon occurs sometimes during a sunset on a cloudless ocean, at the very last seconds during which the sun is visible.

Then, on some occasions, a green ray can be seen for a few seconds... this amazing natural event inspired many people, including the famous French writer Jules Vernes, which even named a book after this.
