From Kissimmee hotel near Orlando to Las Vegas

Arrival in Orlando

Landing in Orlando on a Sunday, the weather was definitely not as good as I would have expected, being for the first time in Florida and hoping for some sun.

However, the dull weather was not an issue to enjoy the hotel.

Getting there, I directly went after check in to have a look at the outdoor swimming pool, which actually looks great.

During the week, I would then visit the theme parks around.

Park Inn bar drinks and food

As the first 3 days of my stay were gray and sad, I went every day at 4pm at the bar, the time at which it opens with a great happy hour deal.

The standard beers such as Budweiser are selling for 2.5$, half price of the usual 5$.

Actually a great deal!

On my first night there, I had the burger recommended by Matt, the awesome barman.

It is actually the cheapest of all burger options, and, with beef and bacon, with side fries, is enough to solve a food craving. However, a side salad would have been a nice addition to make it a more complete meal.

Another day, I saw another customer ordering their loaded nachos, and it looked great. I asked them how it is, and, on their advice, ordered the same meal. Again, it was great food, and was definitely enough to cover my hunger.

For my last meal there, I ordered again a burger, as I've been extremely satisfied with the first one.

Outdoor pool and jacuzzi

On my last day there, it was actually a little sunny, and I could use a few hours of my free time to enjoy the pool area.

The water was warm enough, and it was possible to take drinks outside, after they have been transfered in a plastic cup, to avoid all accidents.

There was no issue to find a deck chair, and take a bit of sun without much noise around.

Leaving Orlando for Las Vegas

After that stay in Orlando, visiting Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Disney World Magic Kingdom, it was time to continue my trip in USA by going to Las Vegas.

There, in Vegas, the first surprise: slot machines right in the international airport, just when arriving.

However, I was there to meet a friend, and took an  Uber   to join her at her working place, the amazing Mexican restaurant El Dorado Cantina, where she would finish working a few hours after my arrival.

The restaurant is situated right next to a huge strip club, the Sapphire pool and day club.

I waited for her with drinks at the bar, and had a very fulfilling burrito.

Time for a week of adventures in Vegas!

Hotel Park Inn by Radisson Kissimmee review

As a Radisson Rewards Platinum member with lot of points, I could stay for free at the Park Inn by Radisson Kissimmee, and stayed there for 8 nights.

It was a pretty comfortable stay, as the hotel features several outdoor swimming pools and one jacuzzi, a great bar with a nice ambiance, and a breakfast buffet which is worth the price.

Park Inn by Radisson Orlando had no bed bugs during my stay, and the room was very comfortable.

Park Inn shuttle and resort fee

The Park Inn by Radisson Orlando resort fee of 17$ a day includes access to the swimming pool area, and several complimentary shuttles to the theme parks around: Walt Disney World Mickey park, Universal Studios Orlando, and Sea World.

Hotel breakfast buffet

The breakfast buffet, which costs around 12$ with taxes included, is a great deal.

It offers toasts, which can be toasted, and eaten with their selection of jams, or with peanut butter, butter, or honey.

They also have several pastries, from muffin to danish, and a good fresh fruits already cut in pieces.

On the warm food area, they offer sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, and pancakes, both standard and Mickey shaped.

The buffet is good enough to cover at least two meals of the day, and is diverse enough to solve most hungers.
